Hello! I’m traveling to Disney in early 2025 and staying at Caribbean beach for access to the skyliner. We’ve never taken a double stroller before, and am curious the dimension requirements for a stroller to be permitted to roll on to the skyliner.

    Hi Mollie!

Welcome to planDisney!  I think your family is going to love Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort!  Your little ones can splash the day away in the Fuentes del Morro Pool which even has a shipwreck-themed splash area.  There are also beaches to play on and plenty of activities including poolside games, campfires, and Movies Under The Stars.  You can always check in the lobby for the latest schedule of activities taking place around the resort.

Mollie, one of the best parts of staying at Caribbean Beach is having the Disney Skyliner as a transportation option. Not only do you have access to this convenient mode of transportation, but Caribbean Beach also serves as the "hub" for all of the lines, which means you can get to both Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT from your resort without ever having to change lines!  The Disney Skyliner can accommodate most single strollers, however, I spoke with a Cast Member who was able to confirm for me that double strollers need to be folded.  Even though this may not be the news you were hoping for, I think you'll still find the Disney Skyliner to be a fantastic option when traveling with little ones.  In fact, my own kids said it was one of their favorite "rides" at Disney!

Besides the parks, the Disney Skyliner also gives you easy access to neighboring resorts as well as the Disney BoardWalk.  At Disney's Riviera Resort and Disney's Beach Club Resort, you'll find some wonderful character breakfast options - Breakfast à la Art with Mickey and Friends at Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera and Minnie's Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Cafe.  These are especially great choices if you're taking a day to relax around the resort but still want to find a bit of character interaction.  I like reserving a later breakfast time on those lazy mornings so we can sleep in and also treat the meal as more of a brunch.

Mollie, I hope this information is helpful and that you and your family enjoy making many magical memories on your upcoming trip!  There are some fantastic videos in our planDisney Video Library about visiting with little ones that you may also find helpful as you continue to plan your trip.  Please stop by planDisney again if you have any other questions!

    See ya real soon!
