Welcome back to planDisney, Diane! I’m happy to help you PACK in as much fun as possible on your vacation with Captains Mickey and Minnie!
Disney Cruise Line staterooms are designed with families in mind. Most feature privacy curtains that create two separate sleeping areas at night and split bathrooms that include a tub. What's really handy is that the stateroom bed is raised about 12” off the ground, leaving plenty of space underneath to stash your suitcases. I've brought all kinds of luggage sizes on board, and fitting everything under the bed has never been a problem. When it comes to
packing for your Disney Cruise, having this extra storage space makes organizing your belongings a breeze.
When you reach the terminal, your checked bags will be whisked away and delivered to your stateroom later in the day. I always pack our swimsuits, extra sunscreen, and any medication in my day bag. If you're
bringing alcohol, be sure to carry it with you as well. Oh, and don’t forget your Port Arrival Form and
travel documents.
When my family boards, we like to eat lunch at
Cabanas and then head to the pools for a refreshing dip or plunge down one of the water slides. What a great way to dive into vacation mode! Afterward, you can explore the youth clubs during Open House hours and stop by
Senses Spa for a tour. I've always wanted to experience the Rainforest room’s heated lounge chairs – it's definitely on my bucket list!
You’ll find the Open House hours on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, along with the daily activity schedule, your dining rotation details, and more! There are also helpful deck plans so you can navigate the ship with ease. If you think of anything else,
please stop by and ask. I’m all ears!
SEAS the adventure!
