Hi. When we return to port Canaveral, how long does it take to disembark after the ship arrives?

Hello, Krissa! Welcome to planDisney. We appreciate you taking the time to visit us during your cruise. While contemplating the end of your vacation may not be the most enjoyable thought, I have a few tips to share.

The disembarkation process begins around 7:30 a.m. and is organized by groups. Each group is called to disembark at a specific time. Your Stateroom Host will leave character luggage tags in your stateroom on the last night of your cruise. You’ll place your luggage in the hallway by 10:00 p.m. to be transported to the terminal, where you will pick it up once you disembark. After breakfast, listen for your character to be called. You are now free to exit the ship and retrieve your bags.

All Guests are asked to leave their staterooms by 8:00 a.m. Captain Mickey bids a fond farewell by treating you to a delicious "See Ya Real Soon" breakfast. Breakfast times are staggered based on your rotational dining time: 6:30 to 7:15 a.m. for Main Dining and 7:45 to 8:30 a.m. for Second Seating. Your servers will tell you when to report.

After breakfast, relax in one of the lounges until your luggage tag group is called. Keep everyone's Key to the World card with you, as they will be scanned one final time upon exiting the ship. It usually takes my family about a half hour to forty-five minutes from when we exit the ship until we exit the parking garage.

For an early departure, you may want to opt for Express Walk-Off. In this case, you don't need to place your luggage in the hallway; instead, keep it inside your stateroom. Once the ship receives clearance, you're free to disembark. Please note that there is no luggage assistance available for Express Walk-Off. I hope this information helps you plan your trip home.
