Ahoy and Welcome to planDisney, Jennifer! A Disney Cruise Line adventure with Walt Disney World Resort bookends to your vacation? Sign me up! I like the way you travel.
Booking
ground transportation from your
Walt Disney World Resort to Port Canaveral and back is the easiest way to stay in the Disney magic and make all these transfers with ease. You can add ground transfers to your cruise reservation by calling
Disney Cruise Line. When I called to inquire, the cost was quoted at $45 per person each way. Prices are subject to change, and with your cruise just around the corner, I highly recommend calling soon to reserve your spots.
With Disney ground transportation, the information you need on your bus to the port will be waiting for you when you check into your resort. One of the best features of using Disney transportation is dropping your bags off as you board the motorcoach to the port with your cruise luggage tags attached, and they are delivered to your stateroom once on board. It makes it so easy for you. Just be sure to have your carry-on - with your
citizenship documents - with you on the bus.
With your travel dates quickly approaching, I hope you have your calendar marked to make any
Walt Disney World Resort dining reservations (60 days before you arrive); your cruise
Onboard Activities and
Port Adventures (75-130 days before your cruise, depending on your
Castaway Club level); and your cruise pre-arrival check-in (30-40 days before you sail, depending on your Castaway Club level).
Wishing you the happiest of times at the Most Magical Place on Earth and aboard the most magical ship at sea!
