Anchors aweigh, Anita!
Thanks for visiting planDisney with your question! How exciting that you have a frightfully fun Disney Cruise Line
Halloween on the High Seas vacation aboard
Disney Magic in your future! Let's conjure up more magic for you as we think through your travel options.
The
Port Everglades Terminal in Fort Lauderdale can be accessed by either Miami International Airport or Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, so your decision as to which airport to fly into might be based on a few factors such as budget and ground transportation options. My recommendation is Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. The Miami airport is 30 minutes from the port and there is often traffic. The Fort Lauderdale airport is an easy 15-minute ride to the port by either ride-share services or Disney Cruise Line transport.
After April 2024,
Disney Cruise Line will only offer ground transportation from the Fort Lauderdale airport, making it an easier choice.
Anita, did you know that Disney Cruise Line can arrange air travel for you? For both air travel and ground transportation, I recommend you
contact Disney Cruise Line and discuss the options available.
Speaking of flying, once you embark on your spellbinding adventure, check your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to find the time and location for meeting Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Clarabelle Cow dressed as the
Hocus Pocus Sanderson Sisters. It is one of the best Character Experiences ever!
I hope this information is helpful as you make your plans, Anita. Let us know if you have other questions or would like more tips as your cruise approaches.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
