Hi, I am a FL resident and have an non-resident guest. We want to go to Epcot with a one day pass only. How much would they be? How do I buy them?

Welcome to planDisney, Martha! And like that other princess from Louisiana says, "You're almost there!" You'll be at Walt Disney World Resort as fast as I can eat a beignet, so let's look at how you and your friend can enjoy a day at EPCOT.

Although one-day theme park tickets are standard price for Florida residents and non-residents, you can easily purchase them online, in person, or on your My Disney Experience mobile app. Be sure to set up and log into your accounts first, and your tickets will be linked autoMAGICally! I recommend buying them before you arrive to save time at the gate. I typically go online to get tickets and book Disney Resort Hotel stays, but you can also give the New Tickets line a call.

Discounts apply the more days you purchase, and Florida residents can currently take advantage of some fabulous deals on three and four-day tickets. A friendly Cast Member shared with me that residents get a discount on a one-day admission with the Park Hopper Option, so keep that in mind if you decide to visit more than one park.

Be sure to catch Luminous The Symphony of Us at EPCOT. This new nighttime spectacular is a moving blend of classic songs and glorious fireworks. I got a little teary during the "You'll Be in My Heart" sequence because that song from Tarzan is special for my son and me. Disney knows how to get us in the feels!

Martha, I'm sprinkling pixie dust and powdered sugar for a fabulous visit full of fun and memories! Please stop by planDisney anytime because we'll climb the mountain and cross the river to help.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
