Hey there, Roanna!
I’m so happy to welcome you to planDisney! How fun that you’re planning to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth during the most WONDERFUL time of the year, the
holiday season! While I love visiting Walt Disney World any time of year, there’s something really special about experiencing the holidays there.
My family also frequently travels with my parents, so I’ve been in a similar situation when it comes to wanting our rooms to be close together. Here’s what I recommend: You can contact
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations by phone, or you can use the chat feature on the Walt Disney World website to request that your rooms be located near each other. Keep in mind that room requests cannot be guaranteed, but Cast Members will do their best to accommodate your request.
Additionally, I’d also recommend stopping by the Front Desk when you check in to see if your request was able to be accommodated or if there’s anything they may be able to do to help.
Just a quick reminder that, because you’re staying at a Disney Resort, you’ll have the added benefit of being able to purchase
Lightning Lane passes, if that’s something you’re interested in, up to 7 days before your check-in date. You can conveniently make your selections beginning at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time through the
My Disney Experience app.
I use Lightning Lane passes with my own family, and I’ve found them to be a great way to maximize our time in the parks and fit even more into our Disney days!
Roanna, I hope this has been helpful as you continue planning your holiday visit. I hope you and your family have a wonderful time making special memories together at Walt Disney World. Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney!
Merry Wishes,
Kami
