Hello and good day (rather, MAGICAL day :), I was just wondering if we’d have a Pirate Night or just a Tick-or-Treat event during our Cruise? It’s the HOTHS 6 night Mexican Riveria cruise departing san diego on october 24, 2026. Thank you in advance!

    Ahoy there, Alorah!

It’s so nice to welcome you back aboard planDisney! Your Mexican Riviera sailing on the Disney Magic is coming up quickly, and since you’ll be sailing during Halloween on the High Seas, you’re in for some extra spooky fun.

As someone who loves planning ahead, I completely understand wanting to know the themed nights ahead of time. While schedules are always subject to change, here’s the current dress schedule for your sailing:

Night One: Cruise Casual - Start your vacation with a relaxed evening onboard. Cruise Casual is perfect for something comfortable and polished as you settle in, enjoy dinner, and begin exploring the ship.

Night Two: Optional Dress-Up - This evening gives you the option to get a little more dressed up if you’d like. It’s a fun opportunity to bring along something special, but there’s no need to feel like you have to go formal.

Night Three: Halloween Attire or Cruise Casual - This is when the Halloween fun really comes to life! You’ll have the chance to enjoy Mickey’s Mouse-querade, a spooktacular celebration with music, dancing, and Disney Characters dressed in their Halloween best. There’s also onboard trick-or-treating for Guests of all ages, so this is definitely a great night to show off those costumes!

Night Four: Pirate Night or Cruise Casual - Ahoy, matey! Get ready for an evening filled with pirate-themed fun, including special activities, a pirate-inspired dinner, the Pirates in the Caribbean deck party, and fireworks at sea. If you’re bringing pirate gear, this is the night to break it out!

Nights Five & Six: Cruise Casual - The final two evenings of your sailing are both Cruise Casual, giving you the chance to keep things comfortable and relaxed as you enjoy those last days aboard the Disney Magic. It’s the perfect time to squeeze in any final activities, enjoy another delicious meal, and savor those last moments at sea before it’s time to head home.

One thing I’d recommend doing before your cruise is downloading the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Once you’re onboard, it will be your go-to resource for checking the day’s entertainment, activities, schedules, and any updates that may come up along the way.

Alorah, I hope this information helps, and you have the most MAGICAL cruise. Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney!

    Happy Sailing,
