Hi Katherine! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question today, I am happy to help!
I am so happy the dining plans are returning to Walt Disney World Resort. They give families not only the peace of mind of knowing that all meals are paid for in advance, but you do rack up some savings, especially with Mouseketeers in tow! Adding a dining plan to your reservation should be fairly easy. You can log in to your My Disney Experience account, and go to the "My Plans" section, and you can follow the steps listed to add a dining plan. You can also speak to a Cast Member from the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations office to get it added to your reservation. Make sure you mention the
Kids Play & Dine for 50% Off Offer when adding this to your existing reservation.
There are two
dining plan options to choose from. They both come with resort refillable mugs and 1 snack per day. The Quick-Service Plan includes two quick-service meals per day, whereas the Disney Dining Plan includes one quick-service and one table-service meal per day. Both plans are great and can go with whatever your needs are. My family and I enjoy sit-down meals (especially character meals for the kids) because you get quality family time, delicious food, and the chance to take a break from the park crowds. Check out the list of approved
dining plan restaurants to begin planning which advanced dining reservations you will make when your booking window opens! I hope all of this information helps you plan the most magical visit to Walt Disney World, Katherine! If you need extra pixie dust, feel free to send me questions at any time! From one Texan to another, you've got a friend in me!
