Welcome to the planDisney world, Summer! Planning a birthday at Walt Disney World Resort is one of my favorite things to do, especially for your Mouseketeer. This visit will be one that will generate lots of core memories, for sure, and I have a few tricks up my sleeve to make this visit one to remember!
Let's talk about room decorations! Walt Disney World offers an
In-Room Floral & Gifts Service that provides balloons, and fun treat baskets that will be sure to make your daughter's birthday extra special! At check-in, make sure to tell the Cast Member helping you that it is her birthday, and you can pick up a blue "Happy Birthday!" button for her, and green "I'm Celebrating!" buttons for the rest of your group. Be sure to bring a Sharpie to personalize your buttons! Birthdays are not complete without a cake, so make sure to order a
Mickey Celebration Cake for her birthday meal. You can add this to your Advanced Dining Reservation once your 60-day booking window opens. Check out this
list of participating restaurants that offer this service. Finally, if your Mouseketeer is a princess fan, make sure to make a reservation for her to be primped and pampered at
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! My daughter was able to do this on her sixth birthday, and it was so special watching her choose her hair and makeup that day. No visit to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is complete without pixie dust, and this Enchanting Extra can also be booked at your 60-day window.
Summer, I hope all of these suggestions help you plan the most magical and pixie-dusted visit to Walt Disney World. If you need more help planning this magical visit, feel free to send me other questions at any time. May all of your daughter's wishes come true that day!
