I have a reservation for lunch at 50s Prime Time Cafe and am thinking of adding on a celebratory cake. However, we may not be able to finish it. Can the restaurant pack the balance of the cake, and keep it for us to collect before we leave the park?

Welcome back to planDisney, Stephen TK! Thank you so much for stopping by with another question for us. I'm so happy to see you here!

After speaking with a friendly Cast Member, I regret to tell you that Walt Disney World Resort restaurants are not able to keep leftovers in order for Guests to pick them up at a later time. If you wish to take the remainder of your cake with you after you've finished your meal, you're more than welcome to put it in a takeout box! Just know that if you don't take it with you, the Cast Members at 50's Prime Time Café will throw it away.

Stephen TK, if you'd like to celebrate with a cake but you still think that the Mickey Mouse celebratory cakes might be too much for you and your family, I suggest stopping by Amorette's Patisserie at Disney Springs. They have tons of beautiful and delicious mini cakes for you to pick from! Their character cakes are my absolute favorite, but they have a huge selection that I'm sure you'll really enjoy. If you do decide to purchase one of these gorgeous cakes, you're welcome to take it with you to the Theme Parks!

I sincerely hope this helps, Stephen TK. If you have any other questions whatsoever, you know just where to find us. Have an absolutely magical weekend!

    Warm hugs,
