So how do you make it up to your grown daughter that says you never took her to Disney as a child. For the record we did, but she was two so she doesn’t remember much. We returned but to other theme parks. What are special things to do for an adult?

Welcome to planDisney, LaDonna! And like everyone's favorite flying elephant says, "Cast your doubts aside and FLY!"

Dumbo's mother loved and stood by him, just like I'm sure you've been there for your "baby mine." So, let's make a plan for the two of you to soar together and make some new magical memories at Walt Disney World Resort.

In the words of Dumbo's pal Timothy Q. Mouse, "Hot diggity!" There's so much you and your daughter can experience together. My favorite place to start with my adult friends and family is EPCOT.

Your visit in May should fall during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, so the two of you can stroll around the World Showcase and sample some delectable treats and sips at the Outdoor Kitchens.

EPCOT also offers many unique shops and shows, so my tip is to take it slow and savor each other's company.

My husband and I recently ended our day by enjoying the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. We danced off all that festival food to Kool and the Gang! Keep an eye on the festival page for the 2024 lineup closer to your visit.

If you're feeling adventurous, you and your daughter can bond over saving the galaxy on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. You'll be dancing, spinning, and laughing your way through the universe.

In addition to EPCOT, I'd recommend a day at Magic Kingdom Park. Let the Disney PhotoPass photographers snap some photos at Cinderella Castle, and I'm sure your baby girl will feel the nostalgia. All will be forgiven!

Eat like queens at Be Our Guest Restaurant, and end your evening watching the nighttime spectacular Happily Ever After. I dare you both not to cry!

LaDonna, I may not have seen an elephant fly, but I can see you and your daughter having a practically perfect time on your visit. Like Dumbo's mom sang, "Let your eyes sparkle and shine," and enjoy some Disney magic together. Thanks for stopping by planDisney!

    Magic awaits,
