Where can I find the holiday allergy food guide? The latest podcast says it is in the app but I’m having trouble finding it. Thank you!

    Welcome, Lia!

Thank you for writing in for more details about the information I shared on this month’s episode of the planDisney podcast. We really appreciate you taking the time to listen or watch this content, and I hope it’s helpful and inspiring for planning your visit to EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays this season. I’m happy to share more information on the allergy friendly information to plan your "must-try" list for those wonderful holiday kitchens.

Our podcast launched in advance of the festival to help get you ready for an upcoming visit, but the My Disney Experience App reflects the current EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival Guide as that festival continues until November 18, 2023. The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays begins November 24, 2023, so please check the app again soon to see the holiday kitchens featured. The location of this guide should be the same, so please check out the current listing to become familiar with the format of this guide.

To find the allergy friendly menus for these EPCOT festivals:

    • Open your My Disney Experience App
    •  Click on the “home” icon in the bottom left of the tray
    • Scroll down to the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival section (or, once available – the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays)
    • Click on “Learn More”
    • The current festival calls the booths “Global Marketplaces” - you’ll see a “View Allergy Friendly Menus” link in that section, near the top of the page for this festival guide
    • Note that the section should be called “Holiday Kitchens” when the app reflects the new festival next week
    •  That page will open, and click on “View Menu” to see everything in one place

This consolidated list of allergy-friendly menus will show dining locations participating in the festival and related allergens to be aware of.

Thank you for being such a fan of planDisney! I hope the podcasts and our answers on the site will continue to be a great help to you as you finalize the details of this special vacation. It truly is the most magical time of the year at the Walt Disney World Resort, and I can’t wait for you to experience all the joys of this special festival.

Please let us know if you have any other questions, we love to help!

Wishing you a magical holiday season,
    Amy
