Welcome to planDisney, Melissa. Let's get your question answered!
The suites at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort are wonderful options, but the maximum amount of Guests that can stay in these rooms is 7 (meaning 6 Guests above the age of 3 and 1 sleeping in a crib below the age of 3). But don't worry, if you all want to stay together, you can look into staying in a 2-bedroom villa at one of the
Deluxe Villa resorts. They usually have a capacity of 8 or 9 Guests (plus 1 Guest under the age of 3 sleeping in a crib) and boast some pretty impressive amenities, like a full kitchen and a washer and dryer! Just make sure to double-check the capacity when booking.
Of course, if you have your heart set on the suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, you can look into booking two of these suites and requesting that they be near each other. Just note that requests cannot be guaranteed. There's also the option of booking 2 standard rooms themed to
The Little Mermaid. These are my favorite rooms at the resort because, well,
The Little Mermaid is my favorite movie! Just keep in mind that at least 1 adult has to be sleeping in each of these rooms. If you're leaning more toward booking 2 standard rooms but want a more cost-effective way of doing so with similar amenities, there are always the rooms at
Disney's Pop Century Resort, which also has some over-the-top theming and access to the
Disney Skyliner.
Melissa, I hope you have a wonderful visit to the resort. And remember, if you're a Florida resident and have the necessary
proof of residency, be sure to check out the
Florida Residents page to see if any discounts or deals apply to your upcoming trip.
