Hi there, Patti,
Thanks for dropping by planDisney with your question. We are happy to help!
Sounds like you have some new plans in the works for your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation, which is exciting! While you can modify the dates and ticket type of your wholly unused theme park admission tickets, you cannot apply them to a resort package.
To
modify your tickets, log in to your
My Disney Experience account on the website and select
My Plans. Select the tickets you need to modify to select a new date for your visit. Patti, please note that no refund or credit is given if the change results in a lower ticket price and if the new ticket price is higher, you will pay the difference.
If you don’t have an alternate date planned, no worries. The price paid for a
wholly unused ticket may be applied to the purchase of a new ticket with an equal or higher price at a later date. If you have trouble modifying your tickets, please
call the Existing Tickets line and speak with a Cast Member.
If you plan to return to Walt Disney World Resort in the future, you could use the tickets you currently hold for a future trip and book the package you are interested in now. There are several Walt Disney World Resort hotel packages right now that are a great value, such as one of the
dining plan packages or the room-and-ticket package, which includes
Magical Extras. With over
25 resort hotels, there is sure to be a package that fits within your budget.
Patti, I hope this information is helpful to you as you plan. Please let us know if you have other questions about tickets or resort hotel packages, or would like some tips for your vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
