Hi Caitlin!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney! I was actually just down in Disney World learning all about stroller rentals, so I’m happy to help you out!
If you’re looking to
rent a stroller at the parks, you won’t have to worry about renting one ahead of time. On your first park day, just head to the stroller rental location, which will be located near the entrance of each park. To find the specific location, you can search for stroller rentals in your
My Disney Experience app.
You’ll be able to rent a single or double stroller, and you’ll have the choice to rent the stroller for a single day or for your length of stay. If you decide to rent the stroller for your length of stay, you’ll snag the rental at a discounted rate (subject to change).
It’s good to note that the stroller will not be allowed outside the parks, so you’ll return it at the stroller rental location before leaving the park. If you rent the stroller for your length of stay, have a
park hopper ticket, or plan to leave the park and then return later, make sure you keep your receipt with you. You’ll show your receipt throughout your vacation at each stroller rental location to get a fresh stroller at each park.
Something I love about the rental strollers is the storage pouch for small items and drinks. But I’ve found that it also comes in handy to have a stroller hook with you, especially if you decide to do any souvenir shopping or if you bring a backpack along with you. Another thing that helps is having some sort of stroller identifier to help your stroller stand out, so you can find it easily in the parking areas. I usually just bring along something simple like a bandana or colorful luggage tag. But you can get pretty creative with it if you want!
I hope you have a great trip! Let us know if you have any other questions.
