Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) and wheelchairs are available to rent at the mobility rental location, which is located in the Esplanade between Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Here, you rent your ECVs before you enter the parks. This will also be the location you return them to when you are done for the day. However, one thing to keep in mind: these rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis. As such, I would recommend arriving just before park opening to help ensure you get your rentals.
If you are staying at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels, you do also have the option of renting ECVs before your trip. ScooterBug, the private rental provider which offers this service, offers length-of-stay rentals for ECVs, wheelchairs, and strollers. They will even deliver it directly to your hotel so you will be able to use your scooter for the walk through Downtown Disney to the parks. Plus, multi-day rentals are available! This allows you to have the consistency of having the same ECV each day and not needing to arrive early each morning to secure one.
One final note, Tiffany: there are quite a few attraction queues that are
accessible and allow Guests to remain in their ECV while waiting in line. (They may still need to transfer to enter the ride vehicle.)
The Disneyland website and the
Disneyland app both include a helpful filter in their respective attractions pages which indicates which queues are ECV accessible. It may be helpful to take a look at the options before you visit to help plan your day.
