Yes, Amanda! If you choose the monthly payment option when renewing your Magic Key, you can later use a
Disney Gift Card to pay the remaining balance in person. As you mentioned, you will need to visit the Guest Services window in the Esplanade of the Disneyland Resort. There, a friendly Cast Member will assist you in calculating your remaining balance, and can process the gift card to pay it off.
After renewing your Magic Key, don’t forget to explore the
special perks! For example, the
Magic Key Terrace recently updated its menu with Italian-inspired dishes, perfect for Fall. This special dining lounge is located high up in the lofts of the Golden Vine Winery in Disney California Adventure and is exclusive to Magic Key holders and their guests. You may want to make a reservation for your next visit to sample the new menu!
And speaking of Fall delights in Disney California Adventure, the new Halloween décor has materialized across the park! My personal favorite is the statue of the Headless Horseman, located across from Carthay Circle Restaurant on Buena Vista Street. Be sure to stop by as Disney Photopass photographers are typically around the statue to help you capture your encounter with this Halloween icon. And of course, come back to visit at night as the Headless Horseman statue comes to “life,” with chilling music and lighting effects. It’s one of my favorite parts of the Halloween season at the Disneyland Resort.
