Welcome to planDisney, Kira! I’m happy to answer your question and help you prepare for a magical day at the Disneyland Resort.
According to the current
Disneyland Resort Rules, toys or plushies that appear to be firearms or weapons are not permitted. As long as the plushies you are bringing do not resemble weapons, they should not be prohibited from entering the parks. However, Security Cast Members have discretion to determine whether an item meets the Resort’s guidelines based on factors such as its appearance and size. If there is any question about one of your plushies, I recommend having a backup plan for storing it during your visit.
Here’s a Q-Tip: If your plushies are small enough to fit in a backpack, consider keeping them there when you’re walking between attractions and taking them out when you want to enjoy them or take photos.
Lockers are also available for rent at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park if you need somewhere to store them during your visit. After all, you’ll have a much easier time navigating crowds and attractions without having to carry three plushies in your arms all day!
Finally, if you would like to get some fun pics with your plushies,
Disney PhotoPass photographers are ready to help capture the moment. If you are curious where they are located during your visit, download the
Disneyland app. You can use the app to see available PhotoPass locations during your visit and plan where you’d like to stop for some memorable shots.
Kira, I hope this information helps you and your plush friends prepare for a magical day at the Disneyland Resort! If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to visit us here again at planDisney.
Have a magical day!
David
