Hello Jessica!
Welcome to planDisney. As huge fans of
Ratatouille (so much so that we named our dog Remy) my family couldn't wait to dine at
Bistrot Chez Rémy. We were so excited to catch a glimpse of the interior while enjoying
Ratatouille: The Adventure, just a few hours before our reservation. This charming restaurant truly brings the movie to life, so you definitely won't want to miss it on your upcoming visit.
Resort guests have access to
make dining reservations for most locations as soon as they receive their package confirmation. If you are only visiting for the day, or staying at an off-property resort dining availability will open about 2 months before your visit. I'm a frequent Walt Disney World Resort visitor and always seem to have a 6 a.m. EST alarm set to secure dining reservations 60 days out. It sounds like you are familiar with this process too, but things aren't quite the same at
Disneyland Paris. I reached out to a chat agent to confirm the specific timing, but they indicated that availability does not open on a set schedule. They suggest checking the website frequently as your visit nears that 2-month mark, in order to secure a table.
I recommend checking beginning at midnight Paris time (3 p.m. PST) and again over the next few hours, but don't panic if you aren't able to secure a reservation right away. Reservations may be released on different schedules depending on the specific restaurant. You can keep an eye on availability right from the
Disneyland Paris mobile app, just be sure your tickets are properly linked.
Remy said, “If you are what you eat, then I only want to eat the good stuff” and you'll find plenty of
good stuff on the menu at this adorable restaurant. We enjoyed the Émile Menu which included a starter, entree (with a side of ratatouille, of course), and dessert. My husband and I also opted for the 3-course wine pairing, which was a nice way to relax and savor our experience. My kids raved about Remy's Eclair and the Chocolate Mousse while I was equally thrilled to snap a photo with Auguste Gusteau's larger-than-life cookbook at the end of our meal.
Jessica, I'll keep my fingers crossed that you'll be able to sample all the cuisine this fall. Whether you sit at a jelly jar tabletop or on a champagne cage chair, you'll be in for a delightful and memorable dining experience! Please come back with more planning questions as you prepare for your visit.
Remember, "Anyone can cook, but only the fearless can be great!"
