Hello, Yanisa!
Thanks for visiting us at planDisney. I'm happy to help as you prepare to visit Walt Disney World Resort.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite holiday experiences! The decor, costumes, entertainment, and
specialty snacks during this separately ticketed event always leave me feeling festive. Just be warned, the soundtrack to Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade will likely be stuck in your head through the end of the year.
The party officially begins at 7 p.m. but partygoers can get a jumpstart on the fun and enter Magic Kingdom Park beginning at 4 p.m. You are free to enjoy attractions via the standby queue at that time and can confirm availability and wait times using the My Disney Experience Mobile App once you've arrived. Cast Members will be checking for party wristbands and day guests will be escorted from the park beginning at 6 p.m. You can continue enjoying the parks during the 1- hour transition period, but will likely not see wait times updated until the party officially kicks off.
Attractions are always subject to availability but plenty of fan favorites are scheduled to be open during this frightfully fun party. Keep in mind that Enchanted Tales with Belle, The Hall of Presidents, Jungle Cruise, Liberty Square Riverboat, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Tom Sawyer Island, Walt Disney World Railroad, Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress, and Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room do not currently appear on the list of available experiences. If any of these are on your wishlist I'd prioritize them before the parks close to daytime guests at 6 p.m.
The good news is that TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise and
Tiana's Bayou Adventure, which utilize Virtual Queues during the day, are both expected to be accessible via the standby queue during the party. I hope you'll get to enjoy both of these thrills!
Guests can typically enter attraction queues up until 1 minute before closing, so you'll have from 7 p.m. to the stroke of midnight to fit in all the fun. There is so much to see and do, that you probably won't get to experience every offering, but you should have plenty of options to keep you going until the witching hour.
I hope this helped, Yanisa. Please come back and see us again with more planning questions.
Boo to you!
Amy
