Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass, and they’ve truly sprinkled extra magic into my Disney World experience. These passes are like your very own pixie-dust shortcut, letting you make the most of your time in the parks while seamlessly fitting in those cherished advanced dining reservations.
While you are not required to add 3 experiences, I highly recommend that you do. Your experiences can be modified afterwards if you change your mind but your best chance for getting the most coveted rides is when booking early. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, one of the most magical perks of staying at a Disney Resort hotel is the exclusive ability to purchase Lightning Lane passes seven days before your arrival. You don't want to waste this benefit by only booking a portion of those 3 available experiences.
This early booking window gives you a head start on the most sought-after attractions and ideal arrival windows. Experiences like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which often disappear faster than you can say “bibbidi bobbidi boo,” are far more attainable with that seven-day lead. While the busiest seasons may still bring a touch of challenge, this window significantly increases your chances of making all your Disney wishes come true.
To modify a Lightning Lane Multi Pass reservation at Disney World, follow these simple steps through the
My Disney Experience app.
1. Open the My Disney Experience App and log in with your Disney account.
2. Navigate to "My Day" or "Future Plans," then tap the menu (☰) and select "My Day" or "Future Plans." Locate the Lightning Lane reservation you wish to change.
3. Select the Lightning Lane Reservation and tap on the specific Lightning Lane experience to open its details.
4. Tap "Modify."If modifications are allowed, you'll see a "Modify" button. Tap it to view alternative times or attractions.
5. Choose a New Time or Attraction by selecting from the available options for the same attraction or switch to a different one, depending on availability.
6. Review the new selection and confirm the change. Your app will update automatically with the new details.
Keep in mind that modifications are subject to availability, so it's best to act quickly if you need to make changes. Some high-demand attractions may not have alternative times available, especially during busy seasons. If you're unable to modify your reservation via the app, visit a
Guest Experience Team member in the park for assistance. Look for them under the blue umbrellas scattered throughout the parks.
