About Me

Welcome home! I am Jenna, hailing from the beautiful Knoxville, TN. I am a former entrepreneur turned high school teacher who thrives on new experiences, travel, reading, and food (ALL of the the food)! You can often find me eating my way around Epcot's World Showcase, laying out by the resort pools, or checking out the newest Enchanting Extra at Walt Disney World Resort. I have been visiting Disney World since I was 3 weeks old and have experienced it as a kid myself, as a newlywed on adults only trips, as mom to little ones, and now as a mother to two teenagers that sometimes think they have outgrown the magic. Walt Disney World Resort truly has something for everyone, and I can't wait to share the joy of my second home with you.

About My Family

I grew up right down the road from Walt Disney World Resort and it quickly became part of my DNA. Even after we moved away from Orlando, summers were regularly spent back at Disney. I always imagined that one day I would find my Prince Charming, and we would go to Disney World as often as possible. The perfect guy for me turned out to be a lot more like Han Solo and I am forever grateful for that! We have two wonderful teenagers that make every day an adventure, even though somedays that adventure is like an Indiana Jones chase where we are attempting to survive. We regularly travel as a family to Disney World, Europe, and major US cities trying new foods, hotels, shows, and rides. Our adventures are not perfect as we often have to navigate physical challenges, dietary issues, and the occasional breakdown, but I have developed several techniques to make these challenges and trips go as smoothly as possible.

About My Disney Experience

Walt Disney World Resort is my favorite vacation destination because it is the perfect blend of nostalgia and new experiences. There is always something new to try and my family makes it a challenge to try every single one of them, except camping, because I can be a little high maintenance. The four of us escape to Disney World at least twice a year, and I usually sneak off for an adults only vacation twice a year as well. Exploring the resorts, trying new culinary experiences, and going on park tours keeps our vacations fresh with surprises around each corner.

Every few years we take a multi-generational trip with extended family were we coordinate a large group of people with varied interests, schedules, and preferences. Those trips hold some of my most precious memories like watching my toddler dance with his cousins and grandparents to the Boo to You Parade. A few years ago, we made the choice to join Disney Vacation Club! We love the flexibility and larger rooms that come along with that membership as well as the perks. During the summer of 2023 we traveled with Adventures by Disney to Italy and enjoyed every minute of it. There is so much to experience at Walt Disney World Resort and so many ways to experience the magic that I still have a travel bucket list with items yet to be checked off.
