I purchased theme park tickets with gift cards. I had to say the cards were gifts, not realizing they would be will call. I'm worried they aren't linked to our magic bands and I won't be able to use lightning lane ahead of time.

    Hi Rebecca!

Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you've stopped by with a question for us. Let's see if we can get things sorted before your upcoming visit.

If you were signed in when completing your ticket purchase, the tickets may be already linked to your account. You can confirm that online or via the My Disney Experience Mobile App as panelist Tammy explains here. If they don't appear under 'My Plans" online or the "My Tickets * Passes" tile on the app (locate this by clicking the feature menu (≡) at the bottom right of the app) you can manually add them.

Hopefully, you've already received an email confirmation of your ticket purchase. If so, there should be a 20-digit confirmation number for each ticket which you can use to link to your My Disney Experience Account. Keep in mind that it can take up to 24 hours from when the confirmation is received before the tickets can be linked. If you have already passed that timeframe, you can follow these steps to try linking your tickets:

    • Visit the reservation linking page, click "Tickets" and sign in to your account
    • On the next screen, click the second image on the top row which will show you where to locate your Will Call Ticket Order Number
    • Once you've located that information, input each code into the ID Number text box
    • Follow the remaining prompts and complete the steps for each person you purchased tickets for
As you link the tickets, you'll need to assign them to the correct member of your travel party. Be sure you have connected with them via the Friends & Family list before completing the linking process. Panelist Mandy shared some step-by-step instructions for that here. If you are traveling with minors or someone who doesn't have their own My Disney Experience Account you can also manually input their name and age to add them to your Family & Friends list.

If you've tried all these steps and are still unable to get things linked I recommend reaching out to a Cast Member by phone for further assistance. Be sure to do this as soon as possible so you can purchase Lighting Lane Passes in advance of your arrival.

I hope that helped, Rebecca. Please come back and see us again with any additional planning questions.

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
