Bonjour Teresa!
Thanks for bringing your question our way. I love that your granddaughter took the time to write to Belle earlier this year. If the letter hasn't already passed through her little town on its way to the Beast's castle, I'm sure she will enjoy reading it just as soon as it arrives.
As you know, Belle usually has her nose stuck in a book so she may have a towering stack of letters waiting to be opened. While I'm sure she would love to personally respond to each one, unfortunately, there is no guarantee that she'll be able to do so. I'll cross my fingers that an Enchantress spell will help get some correspondence back to you before the last petal falls in some other far-off castle, but please tell your granddaughter not to be discouraged. She is certainly welcome to write again, but she can also save her thoughts and questions for the next time she visits Walt Disney World Resort.
I've had the pleasure of dining at Be Our Guest in
Magic Kingdom Park, and though Belle doesn't typically make appearances there, she can be found just a short walk away at
Enchanted Tales with Belle. My family enjoyed this fairytale experience a few years ago and I loved watching my husband perform as a knight while my son and daughter served as salt and pepper shakers during the musical retelling of a tale as old as time. As long as your granddaughter doesn't have stage fright, this would be a perfect way for her to see Belle up close and personal and grab some special photos.
You might also
find Belle wandering in her provincial blue dress along the waters of World Showcase Lagoon in EPCOT's France Pavilion. Appearance times will be listed in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, which can be found by clicking the map icon (second from left) and then toggling to "Characters" from the drop-down list at the top of the screen.
Teresa, if we can answer any additional questions please come back and let us know. We'll happily wait for you to be our guest at planDisney again.
Magic and memories,
Amy
