Welcome back to planDisney, Michelle. It's great to have you here!
You seem like my kind of parkgoer. You want to know all the ins and outs of the new system to make it work for you. I totally get it! So let's get your question answered.
Typically, if an attraction or experience isn't available during the window that you have reserved through
Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you will receive a Multiple Experiences Pass through
My Disney Experience. This pass usually allows you to return to that attraction or experience that day if it comes back up or it will list other experiences for which you can choose instead to use the Lightning Lane that day. If it's a Lightning Lane Single Pass that wasn't available, you will usually get a pass to visit
that particular attraction later on that day if it becomes available. If you have any questions, you can find a
Guest Experience Team member who is usually wearing blue and standing under a blue umbrella at various locations around the park.
When you visit in a few days, I hope you are planning on experiencing
Tiana's Bayou Adventure in
Magic Kingdom Park. Let me tell you, this attraction is a mix of nostalgia and brand-new thrills. The nostalgia comes from the classic ride system that I absolutely love and the brand-new thrills come from
the state-of-the-art animatronics and ride elements. And
the music? Superb! I can't wait to ride it again when I visit the resort in November. I'm all about the "Disney Mountains" and while it doesn't have the word "mountain" in its title, I still consider it one of them...and on a hot summer day, that splash at the end (and the splashes throughout) just can't be beat!
Michelle,
please reach out again if you have any other questions, and be sure to
check out these hot tips from some of my fellow planDisney Panelists on how to stay cool at the resort this summer.
When we play together we just can't lose,
Matt
