Hi there, Stephanie!
From one military family member to another, welcome to planDisney. I know that you’re super excited to explore the wonders of Walt Disney World Resort in just a couple months. By the time that you arrive, Walt Disney World will use the
Lightning Lane Multi Pass system. It’s my pleasure to dive deeper into what this means for your traveling crew.
A stay at
Shades of Green Resort qualifies your party to make experience selections with your purchased Lightning Lane Multi Pass up to 7 days before your check-in date. I spoke to a friendly Cast Member and they said that the key here is to make sure that your Shades of Green Resort hotel reservation and Walt Disney World theme park tickets are all linked to your MyDisney account.
Make theme park reservations for your theme park tickets if you haven’t done so already to ensure that there are dates for which the Lightning Lane Multi Pass and/or Single Pass can be used.
I like to use
this online linking tool to add any outside Resort reservations, dining reservations, theme park tickets, MagicBands+, and more. If you’ve recently made your Resort hotel reservation, give it a couple of days if My Disney Experience doesn’t recognize the confirmation number.
AN EXTRA GEM: Not only will you be able to take advantage of purchasing your Lightning Lane Multi Pass early (and plan up to 14 days of your vacation days), but you’ll also be able to join in on the
Early Theme Park Entry fun. This means that you can enter the theme parks as early as 30 minutes before official operating hours. I’m always amazed by how much I can get done in that half an hour.
Stephanie, I hope that you enjoy every minute of your magical getaway. If you have any other questions as you continue planning, reach out to us here at planDisney.
I’m all ears! Magic always,
LeAndra
