Hi Humberto! Welcome to planDisney. I am sorry to hear about your wallet and driver’s license. I do have some information that may help with using your
Magic Key the next time you visit the Disneyland Resort.
For an initial use of a Magic Key or
theme park ticket, Disneyland Park Rules state that the guest may need to present a government-issued photo ID. While your utility bill would not qualify under these rules, as long as your passport has your photo, you can use that as your ID. I would recommend bringing it along with you on your next visit.
Additionally, I would suggest arriving early to the Disneyland Resort for your visit, in case you need to speak with a Cast Member about using your passport as your ID. While this is allowed under park policy, it may take a few moments to have everything verified for your visit. That extra bit of time will help you ensure your visit is off to a great start!
Also, if you have your Magic Key linked to your MyDisney account, you can then use the Disneyland App to scan in for any subsequent visits. To link your Magic Key to your account, be sure you have your Magic Key purchase confirmation handy. Then open the
Disneyland App, tap the three stacked lines near the bottom right of the screen, and select the “My Tickets & Passes” section. Tap the “+” symbol in the upper right corner and use the “Link Tickets & Passes” button to add your pass. Lastly, either scan the pass barcode with your phone’s camera or manually type the ID numbers.
Humberto, I hope this information helps you prepare for your next visit with confidence!
May you have a magical day!
David
