I love being a
Magic Key holder, and I hope you'll find that the perks, discounts, and special events add an
extra sprinkle of pixie dust to every visit!
Magic Key passes become active the first time they are
scanned for theme park entry, or when you use an included parking benefit at a parking lot at the Disneyland Resort, such as the Mickey & Friends or Pixar Pals Parking Structures. Just remember that you'll need a valid theme park reservation to enter a park on any day, including the day you activate your Magic Key. Reservations cannot be made on dates that are blocked out on your pass's availability calendar.
The good news is that activating your pass is as easy as waving a magic wand! Your Magic Key will automatically activate when you enter the park (or scan in to parking), and there are no extra steps you'll need to take. The first time you scan in, a Cast Member will take your photo, officially assigning the pass to you and completing the activation process.
As long as you have a
valid theme park reservation, you'll be stepping through those gates and lining up for that License Plate frame before you can say Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!
I have to admit, I'm a little jealous! I am on a week-long camping trip that has been on the calendar for nearly a year, and I was pretty bummed when I realized it overlaps with the giveaway dates. Even though I'll be missing out, I'm excited for fellow Magic Key holders like you who have the chance to pick one up!
