When can I purchase tickets to the telling of the Christmas story in EPCOT?

    Hiya Kristin,

Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your EPCOT planning question! The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is one of my family’s favorite traditions. We love seeing EPCOT all decked out for the season, and the Holiday Cookie Stroll is always a must-do for us.

So Kristin, when you mention holiday storytelling, you may be thinking of two different experiences. Throughout the day, you can find Holiday Storytellers around World Showcase sharing traditions, legends, and celebrations from their home countries. Some of our family favorites include La Befana in Italy, Las Posadas Celebration in Mexico, and Father Christmas in the United Kingdom. I recommend checking the My Disney Experience app during your visit for the most up-to-date showtimes so you can work a few of these festive stops into your day.

The other experience you may be referring to is the Candlelight Processional, and this one is an absolute holiday favorite of mine. The story of Christmas is retold by a celebrity narrator alongside an incredible choir. It is such a beautiful and moving way to celebrate the holiday season.

Both of these experiences are included with your EPCOT admission ticket. However, if you would like a guaranteed seat for the Candlelight Processional, I highly recommend looking into a Candlelight Processional Dining Package. Each dining package includes one guaranteed seat per person for a same-day performance. Be sure to check back beginning October 14, 2026, when reservations are scheduled to become available. For advance dining reservations and enchanting extras, book 60 days before your trip.

Kristin, I hope this helps add a little merry to your EPCOT planning! Between the storytellers, the Candlelight Processional, and maybe a cookie or two along the way, you are in for such a festive day.

    See you real soon,
