I am not sure if it still at EPCOT . I would like to go to the German restaurant Christmas show. Can I go there without Epcot entry?

Magical greetings, Rica, and allow me to wish you a welcome to planDisney that's warmer than a mug of gluhwein at Christmastime. Thanks for asking your question about visiting Germany inside World Showcase at EPCOT.

Biergarten Restaurant is one of the most unique restaurants you'll find at Walt Disney World. With its buffet German delicacies, steins of beer, servers in traditional lederhosen and dirndl dresses, there's only one thing that can make it better. You just might be serenaded by the oompah of a Polka band, giving it that true Oktoberfest vibe.

Actually, now that I think about it, there's another thing that would make it better, dining there as part of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays Candlelight Processional Dining Package. The Candlelight Processional is a beautiful presentation of The Christmas Story performed by a large choir backed by a live orchestra with celebrity narration. There are typically three shows nightly during the festival, and it's quite popular. Guests sometimes begin lining up quite early in the day to have a chance at a seat. By booking a dining package, you get a meal at your reserved time as well as guaranteed seating for one of the shows. In my opinion, it's not to be missed, and a dining package is the best way to secure your spot.

Because Biergarten Restaurant is located inside EPCOT, admission is required to dine there and to see the show, which is also inside EPCOT, at America Gardens Theater. I also want you to know that reservations are recommended, especially for the dining package. You can begin making them 60 days in advance of your arrival date for your entire trip if you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel. If not, you can make reservations beginning 60 days in advance of the day you visit EPCOT. Oh, and one more thing, make sure you save room for dessert. The apple strudel is, mwah, chef's kiss!

Rica, I hope you have a spectacular visit to EPCOT. We'd love to answer more of your questions if you think of anything else.

    Grab hold of your dreams!
