While
theme park tickets to the parks at the
Walt Disney World Resort are nonrefundable and nontransferable,
the value of a wholly unused ticket doesn't typically expire. So, if your plans change, you can usually apply the value you paid for your original ticket to a new ticket. Please note that if the new ticket you purchase is more expensive, you will need to pay the difference at the time of purchase, and if it's less expensive, you will not receive a refund for the difference.
Would it surprise you if I said you should go both next year
and this year? Probably not, as you can likely tell I'm a huge Disney Parks fan. But so many new experiences have opened recently, and more are on the way, that the parks are constantly changing and feeling fresh. I got to experience the newly reimagined
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at
Disney's Hollywood Studios and
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at
Magic Kingdom Park, and, as Mickey would say, "Oh boy!" Talk about some amazing refreshes! Then, of course, the new mission aboard
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and the refresh of
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. Not to mention
Bluey's Wild World recently opened at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and the
Magic of Disney Animation is coming in September. And then there's the
Tropical Americas-themed land that's currently slated to open in 2027! So stay tuned to the
