check available dining reservations for any must-do restaurants.
Character dining is always high on my priority list, and one of my favorite places to enjoy some Mickey waffles with Mickey himself is at
Garden Grill Restaurant in EPCOT!
Roxanne, when you purchase a vacation package that includes your Disney Resort hotel reservation and
theme park tickets, the start date for your tickets is the same as your resort check-in day. If you have specific questions about your tickets and vacation package, you can always
contact a Cast Member at the Walt Disney Travel Company who can access your reservation details and review if any other options are currently available.
Before your tickets are active, you may want to check out the fun beyond the theme parks. Some may find it hard to believe, but I've actually planned a few Disney trips in recent years that didn't involve a theme park ticket at all because there is so much to see and do in other areas of Walt Disney World!
Disney Springs is a shopping, dining, and entertainment hot spot, and with the recent opening of
LEVEL99, there is even more to enjoy. It's also home to one of my favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World -
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'. The Thigh High Chicken Biscuits keep me coming back time and time again!
Additionally, I'm a big fan of
Disney's BoardWalk area.
Surrey Bike Rentals are available near
Disney's BoardWalk Inn and can provide a bit of family fun. After your bike rental, I'd suggest heading over to
Disney's Beach Club Resort to try one of the famous ice cream sundaes at
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. If you're visiting at night, you may even catch live performers singing or sharing magic tricks with Guests!
