A very merry "hello" to you, my friend! Thanks for stopping by planDisney. If you're hoping to add a pinch of pixie dust to the most wonderful time of the year, I can't think of anything better than a visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
Booking your vacation package is as easy as saying
bibbidi-bobbidi-boo. . .no magic wand required! I always like to start by deciding where I'm going to stay. With more than two dozen hotels in the
Disney Resorts Collection, there is something for every vacation preference and budget. A few of my top choices to start your search would be
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort (Value Resort),
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort (Moderate Resort), and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge (Deluxe Resort). No matter where you choose to stay, you can enjoy
many great benefits just for being a Guest in the Disney Resorts Collection, including complimentary resort transportation, earlier booking windows for Lightning Lane passes and dining reservations, and, my personal favorite, Early Theme Park Entry!
After you've selected your travel dates and resort hotel accommodations, the next screen will give you
ticket options. You can choose a ticket for your preferred number of days, then decide whether to add the Park Hopper, Water Park & Sports, or Park Hopper Plus options to your purchase. Once your tickets have been added, you can review the available
dining plans. For stays in 2026,
kids (ages 3 to 9) can get a FREE dining plan when the adults in their travel party purchase plans for themselves. This can offer significant savings for families, and can sometimes even be combined with other
special offers. If you need any help reserving your vacation package,
Cast Members at Tickets and Hotel Reservations are available to assist.
Now that we've covered the basics of your vacation package, let's take a minute to talk about some of the extras that make the holiday season so special at Walt Disney World. You may want to consider purchasing tickets to one (or both!) of the special-ticketed events happening throughout the holidays -
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park or
Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Even if you don't choose to purchase tickets to one of these events, you'll find plenty of festive fun and decorations throughout the parks and resorts. The
Disney Parks Blog has recently shared a first glimpse of what we can expect this holiday season, but I'd keep an eye out for more updates in the weeks and months ahead!
I hope this information has been helpful, and I wish you the best as you plan a holiday visit that is practically perfect in every way! If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!
See ya real soon!
