Hi Krystal!
Thanks for stopping by with a question for us. I'm glad to hear about your December trip and love that you are already thinking ahead about
Lightning Lane Passes. Let's get into the details.
As you know, guests of Disney Resorts Collection hotels will be able to purchase and plan Lightning Lane Pass selections 7 days before check-in. This is a great perk of staying on-site and should give you a larger selection of attraction return times to choose from. Unfortunately, you will not be able to include your guests in your plans until they are within their eligibility window. You can still make plans together as long as everyone is
linked via the Family & Friends list, however, you'll need to
wait until your friends are 3-days out from their ticket start date.I recommend securing your preferred experiences as soon as you are eligible and then looking for overlapping return times once your friends can book their selections. You can also try
modifying your return times to match theirs if you prefer. As you all redeem one of your initial 3 experiences, you can make additional same-day selections together, subject to availability.
Krystal, I'm sorry I don't have a different answer for you today, but I hope it won't detract from the fun during your visit. There are plenty of ways to enjoy magic in the parks as a group, even if you can't ride every attraction together. Consider securing an
advance dining reservation for a group Table Service meal, or making plans to enjoy some of the fantastic entertainment. I love watching the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade with a big group at Magic Kingdom Park (try watching in Frontierland for a bit more viewing room) and taking in the sights and splashes of
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana at EPCOT. You'll find lots of fun ways to connect during your visit!
I hope this helps, Krystal. If we can answer any additional questions please come right back and let us know.
Magic and memories,
Amy
