It sounds like you have big plans to maximize the magic on your upcoming visit. Have no fear, your
Lightning Lane Pass answers are here! Let's chat more about the booking process.
I haven't used the new system just yet, but it's my understanding that the initial three selections must be the same for everyone in your group. Once those are booked, you should be able to modify which party members are included for a particular attraction and select a different option for the guests who don't want to ride.
Let's say you initially secure a ride for your entire party on
Peter Pan's Flight. Once booked, navigate to that selection and click "Modify Selection." This should give you the ability to edit the time, experience, and/or group members. If you want to switch certain guests over to the
Haunted Mansion, follow the prompts to "Pick a New Experience," choose the appropriate attraction and time, and then uncheck the group members who want to keep the original selection. Return times are always subject to availability, and I can't guarantee you'll find matching times across all attractions, but you should be free to split your group according to everyone's preferences through the in-app modification process. Keep in mind that you can only schedule a Lightning Lane return time once per day, per eligible attraction.
As you craft your perfect day, remember that you can make new selections as soon as you've redeemed one of the initial three. Knowing this, I plan to choose an early return time for at least one of my Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections so that I can schedule additional return times as soon as possible. Just be sure to keep the attraction groupings in mind when planning your first three selections. Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park doesn't have any specific groupings, but the other parks all have two separate groups of attractions you'll need to consider when planning your selections.
