Hey there, Sonja!
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney today. I’m not sure if you’re still in planning mode, but you'll be able to review costs step-by-step as you go through the booking process, with the total (including any taxes and fees) listed on the final checkout screen.
Start by selecting your travel dates and party size on the
"Build Your Vacation" menu on this page to view available resorts. If your dates are eligible for a
special offer or promotion, you may see two different prices listed. Click "Offer Details" to view additional information for the qualifying promotion. Keep in mind, the average nightly pricing posted excludes applicable taxes, but these will be detailed further in the checkout process.
Most resorts have a variety of room types (like The Little Mermaid Standard Rooms or Family Suites at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort) so click the arrow next to your desired resort to view all your options. You may also see additional promotion offers near the top of the screen, so be sure to read through each one to see which works best for your visit.
Once you’ve settled on your preferred resort and room type, click the "Select" button to continue through the checkout process. You can review the nightly cost for each day of your stay, plus taxes, by proceeding through the checkout process
without selecting any additional options. A nightly breakdown won't be itemized on the final checkout screen once you add tickets or other options to your package, so review your room-only subtotal first if you want to see exactly how your room cost is calculated.
When you're ready to book a package, you’ll have the option to add 2-10 days of admission with pricing based on the number of days selected and whether you select 1 Park Per Day or Park Hopper Option tickets. The price will be displayed as an "offer subtotal," but you can subtract the room-only portion from the amount listed to get an idea of the total ticket cost for your party. You'll also be able to add a
dining plan and/or Memory Maker (with an updated offer subtotal at each step) before you reach the final checkout screen. Keep in mind that any tickets and dining plans added to your room reservation will apply to all guests on the reservation.
Packages booked 31 days or more before arrival will pay a deposit (currently $200) with the balance due 30 days before check-in. Full payment is due at the time of booking for
packages booked 30 days or less before arrival.
During your stay, you can keep tabs on any purchases charged to your room using the
My Disney Experience app. Click the feature menu (≡), select "Hotel Reservations" and click the "View Charges" folder. The lead passenger on the reservation will also receive an itemized list of any purchases charged to the room by email the morning of your checkout.
Sonja, if I’ve misunderstood your question or you still need further assistance, please come back to planDisney and let us know. You can also
reach out to a Cast Member by phone or via the online chat for additional assistance. Wishing you a wonderful vacation!
Magic and memories,
Amy
