Can I present my bank statement for Florida residency proof?

    Hi Camila,

Welcome to planDisney! I'm always thrilled to hear from a fellow Floridian, whether you're a long-time resident or fairly new to our state.

To take advantage of special offers, tickets and annual passes just for those of us who live here, you must verify your Florida residency. The easiest way to do that is with a Florida drivers license, state issued ID or a Florida-based military ID. If you have one of those official IDs, you usually can complete the verification online.

If you don't have one of those, Walt Disney World does allow alternative ways to verify your Floridaaddress. Mail from a financial institution, such as a checking, savings or investment account statement, is one of the acceptable proofs.

You also can use your vehicle registration, homeowners insurance bill and a few other documents that are listed on the Walt Disney World website.

To verify your residency in person with one of these forms of alternate proof, visit any theme park ticket window, Guest Services locations at the parks or the Welcome Center at Disney Springs. It should take just a few minutes, and you will be ready to enjoy the magic.

Thanks for your questions, Camila. Please let us know if you have any other questions as you begin your adventures as a Florida resident and Disney guest.

    Enjoy,

    Wilma
