I am a Florida resident and want to buy tickets for my grandchildren that do not reside in Florida. Would they qualify for the Florida resident park tickets?

    Hey there, Jana!

I’m so happy to welcome you to planDisney with your question today! Being a Florida Resident definitely comes with some wonderful perks, but when it comes to theme park tickets, Florida Resident pricing can only be used for Guests who also meet the residency requirement. That means you wouldn’t be able to purchase Florida Resident tickets for your grandchildren if they are not Florida Residents.

The good news is that there are often some great Special Offers available that may be perfect for your visit! For example, there is currently a 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket available with start dates from May 26 through September 26, 2026. This ticket allows one visit to each of the four Walt Disney World theme parks and must be used within 7 days of the selected start date.

If you’re thinking about more relaxed park days, there will also be a specially priced After 2 PM Ticket offering for visits between May 26 and July 29, 2026, which is a great option for enjoying the parks later in the day.

Since these offers do change and get updated regularly, I always recommend checking back often as your travel dates get closer to see if anything new has been added that might work even better for your plans.

This summer is really shaping up to be an exciting one with the return of Cool KIDS' SUMMER, bringing even more fun for families visiting Walt Disney World!

There are also some great new and refreshed experiences on the way. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is set to open on May 26th, adding a fun twist to this classic high-speed attraction. On the same day, Soarin’ Across America will debut as well, offering a breathtaking new journey celebrating the beauty and spirit of the United States as we look ahead to the nation’s 250th birthday celebration. It’s an incredible time to visit, with so much new magic and entertainment rolling out across the parks!

Jana, thank you so much for stopping by planDisney! We hope to see you again real soon!
