Is it possible to order the Bavarian cheesecake from the Germany pavilion in Epcot if you’re not dining at the Biergarten?

Hello again, Amanda! I'm so happy to talk with you about my favorite topic...Walt Disney World Resort food! My husband likes to gleefully tell people that I often plan dinner while I'm eating lunch, and he's not wrong. It sounds like you have your heart set on a delectable dessert, so let's see what we can devour on this topic.

Menu items are always subject to change, and Biergarten Restaurant at EPCOT currently serves buffet-style dining with a revolving variety of dishes. The Bavarian cheesecake is mentioned on this location's information page, so the good news is that it should be there during your visit.

Unfortunately, items on the buffet are typically only available to guests who pay for the whole meal. You can always ask a host about ordering a dessert to go, but I doubt they make exceptions. I have some other suggestions, so hear me out!

You can join a Walk-Up List through the restaurant's page on your mobile app or by asking in person. Then, you can enjoy a buffet lunch or dinner at Biergarten Restaurant, followed by as much Bavarian cheesecake as you want!

If that's unavailable, I recommend heading to Karamell-Küche, also in the Germany Pavilion, to see what delicious treats you can find there. My favorite is the Caramel Butter Bar, but I've seen mini Caramel Cheesecake Tarts there, as well. And there's always the world-famous School Bread at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe. This custard-filled dessert is a favorite among my panel pals.

Amanda, I know your visit will end on a sweet note. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
