Hello Jose,
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney today. I'm excited that you are planning to join the
Annual Passholder family. I purchased my Sorcerer Pass in April and have been enjoying monthly visits and taking advantage of
special offers and discounts ever since. It's been a really magical year so far and I can't wait to continue the fun!
If you are hoping to take advantage of the monthly payment plan available for Florida residents, you'll need to use a debit or credit card to set up those payments.
I came across an answer from a fellow panelist about using a Disney Gift Card for the down payment, but unfortunately, I wasn't able to confirm whether this is still in practice when I reached out to a Cast Member. I'd recommend trying to complete the process online as you'll need to sign an installment contract when setting up monthly payments. I'm not a Florida resident so unfortunately, I don't have access to the same information that you will be able to see during the checkout process.
If you aren't able to apply the gift card for your down payment online, you can always use it to cover one of your monthly payments in person at one of the theme park ticket booths or at the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. You may also use it to pay off your Annual Pass in full over the phone by
contacting Passholder Payment Services.
Once you've purchased your
Annual Pass you'll have access to a year of magic at the parks
subject to blockout dates, as well as complimentary standard theme park parking and discounts on select food and merchandise. I also upgraded my pass to add a year of unlimited
Disney PhotoPass downloads as well, and have loved looking back on all the special moments captured in the parks.
I hope this was helpful Jose. If we can be of further assistance please don't hesitate to reach back out to us.
Magic and memories,
Amy
