    Can I use a Disney gift card to pay for annual passes if I'm on the monthly payment program since I'm a Florida resident?

    Welcome to planDisney! I am so excited to see that you are purchasing an annual pass. I can't think of anything better than visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth throughout the year. There are so many amazing things happening all over Walt Disney World Resort! Traditional Character Greetings have returned, new nighttime spectaculars have debuted, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is opening in just a few short weeks. With so many great reasons to visit, purchasing an annual pass is a perfect way to fit more fun into your year. 

    Jessica, I have looked into your question (and it's a great one). Your monthly payments towards your annual pass can only be automatically deducted with a debit or credit card on file. You do have the option of using a Disney Gift Card when making a down payment during the initial purchase. A Cast Member also shared with me that if you would like to use a gift card for one of your monthly payments you can do so in person at a Guest Relations location in the Disney theme parks. There is not an online option to apply gift cards toward the monthly payment amounts. You can also request to have a gift card applied to your Passholder balance by reaching out to a Cast Member by phone with Passholder Payment Services!

    Once you have purchased your annual pass and linked it to your My Disney Experience account, you will need to make Park Pass reservations for your upcoming visits. All four theme parks require a reservation in addition to a valid ticket or annual pass. You can check the availability of any dates you have in mind online before your purchase!
