Hi Jacquie,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for your question about planning a visit to the groovy Pop Century Resort. Your vacation is just around the corner, so I'm happy to help you with your last-minute preparations.
Each room in the resort is equipped with a
beverage cooler, which is the perfect place to store drinks, leftovers and snacks. The units do not have a freezer compartment but are spacious enough for several bottles or cans of drinks and a to-go container or two.
Microwaves for guest use are available in the
Everything Pop food court.
You can purchase individual bottles of water in the food court and the adjacent gift shop. Or, if you are looking for a case of water, you have the option of using a delivery service from one of the local discount stores or grocery delivery services. The order will be delivered to Bell Services, which will store it for you until you arrive. (You must be present to accept delivery if there is alcohol or another item in your order that requires ID.)
In my family, we usually skip the bottled water and each bring a reusable water bottle, which we can fill with ice and filtered water in the food court or at bottle-filling stations around the theme parks. (The food court has a washing station for individual bottles or the Disney refillable cups.) All the quick service dining locations also will give you a free cup of ice water to refill your bottles.
I hope you love the
Pop Century resort. We were there about a month ago, for the first time in a couple of years, and were reminded again of how much we love the convenience of hopping onto the
Skyliner at that resort for a quick flight to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
Wishing you a magical vacation, Jacquie.
Enjoy,
Wilma
