To start, you'll be happy to know that many Disney Resort hotels offer connecting rooms. In order to request connecting rooms for your stay, I recommend
reaching out to a friendly Cast Member with hotel reservations so they can put your request on file. Now, the hardworking folks in reservations will do their best to accommodate your request, but there are no guarantees that it will be fulfilled. I'm happy to suggest lodging on property that can
accommodate 5 people all in one room!
There are some exciting options at Value Resorts, including
Disney's Art of Animation Resort and
Disney's All-Star Music Resort. These locations offer Family Suites that can accommodate up to 6 guests with plenty of space for the whole family to stretch out. The theming at Art of Animation can't be beat, with suites styled after fan-favorite films like
Cars,
The Lion King, and
Finding Nemo, while the suites at All-Star Music have huge kitchenettes and full-size fridges with freezers.
If you're looking to plus-up your stay, you can also explore
Deluxe Villa resorts that can sleep 5 or more guests. I highly recommend a one-bedroom or larger villa, as you can get some nice separation for all members of the family. Additionally, there are next-level amenities like an in-unit washer and dryer and a full kitchen. I know laundry and cooking aren't for everyone on vacation, but I do love unpacking a suitcase of clean clothes when I return home and saving some money on dining when I visit The Most Magical Place on Earth.
