Welcome to planDisney! One of my favorite things about Disney Resort hotels is the uniquely themed pools. Cooling off during a midday park break or enjoying a night swim before winding down is the perfect way to recharge during your stay.
This is such a great question, Vince!
Disney's Art of Animation Resort has three great pool options.
The Big Blue Pool, which is the largest hotel pool at Disney World, features Nemo and friends. The Cozy Cone Pool is home to orange cone cabanas and the Cars crew. And the Flippin’ Fins Pool has whimsical Little Mermaid vibes. While each pool offers plenty of space, I am sad to report that they are not designed for lap swimming. Pool hours vary by season and are traditionally 10 AM to 10 PM (subject to change). You'll be able to confirm pool hours for the week when you check in to your home away from home.
In addition to great pool time experiences, this resort also offers
Movies Under the Stars and
Campfire Activities (including complimentary marshmallows to roast). If you are traveling with little ones, these are sure to be a hit!
Pro tip: You can
Mobile Order dinner from
Landscape of Flavors, and bring it to the movie site. Dinner and a show is a memorable way to end the day!
