Welcome to planDisney, Julie!
One of my favorite features of
Disney Vacation Club Membership is the flexibility. Not only can we use our Membership for unique, incredible
DVC Resorts around the country, but we can also utilize our
Vacation Points for options like
Adventures By Disney or
Disney Cruise Line. Let's chat about using your DVC Membership to book a sailing on Disney Cruise Line.
There is indeed a
Points Chart to use Vacation Points for Disney Cruise Line. Once you have selected the voyage that looks right for you, then you will need to call
DVC Member Services to book. The reservation process looks a bit different than making a DVC Resort booking. The DVC Vacation Advisor will need to transfer your Vacation Points into
Reservation Points. This is a final transaction, and your Points can no longer be used to book DVC Resorts. There is also a one-time, non-refundable transaction fee for transferring the Points. Additionally, according to the
Rule of Four, you won't be able to book a sailing in the last four months of your Use Year. Member Services will happily walk you through this process and answer any questions you have about completing the Point exchange. I hope this helps you book a Disney Cruise Line voyage of your dreams!
Thank you for visiting planDisney. We are here for all your Disney Vacation Club questions.
Enjoy exploring the big, blue world!
