About Me

I'm a Georgia girl who grew up dreaming of flying the Millennium Falcon or finding fortune and glory with Indiana Jones. My deep love of storytelling led me to a career in helping others tell their stories again. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, I have the profound honor of guiding others to rediscover their voice. I am passionate about advocating for my patients and teaching the public about the wide variety of ways we can all communicate. In my free time I enjoy writing, volunteering at our church and my children's school, watching movies, and (most of all) envisioning new experiences for my family. So, if you need advice on anything from Disney Vacation Club trips with large, blended groups to exploring all the hidden gem entertainment available at each Resort, I am the adventurer for you!

About My Family

I am fortunate beyond all measure to have married my best friend. He embraces each new adventure with an open mind and heart. He gets asked for advice on Walt Disney World Resort vacations almost as much as I do! We work together to teach our children the value of learning and growing through experiences. Our daughter is endlessly brave, and there is no challenge too big for her to conquer. She loves planning (like mom) and showing her friends the joys of conquering Expedition Everest- Legend of the Forbidden Mountain or anticipating which song we will rock out to on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Our son is the family entertainer and makes friends everywhere we journey. He has yet to turn down a Mickey Pretzel or a chance to travel back in time on his favorite attraction, DINOSAUR. The love of Disney vacations that our family shares has bonded us in ways I never expected. 

About My Disney Experience

EPCOT and I have a love story that began before I was born. My mother visited shortly after the opening of the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow as she was expecting me, and the rest is history! It has remained my favorite Walt Disney World Resort park to this day. My husband and I began our Walt Disney World Resort story as new parents with our one-year-old in tow. Things escalated quickly, and we became Disney Vacation Club Members two years later, shortly before our son was born!

Our family has navigated every age and stage with Walt Disney World Resort as a backdrop. We began with frequent visits at every Baby Care Center to searching for every possible Starbucks with teenagers. Our Disney Vacation Club Membership has inspired journeys that were hard to envision in the days of our young family. My son's first flight was for our inaugural stay at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. We all agree our most incredible adventure to date was Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa on the island of Oahu. However, our favorite experiences are the ones we share with family and friends. Disney Vacation Club has allowed us the flexibility and space to bring our loved ones along for the ride. We have made the most magical memories inviting our family and friends to discover the joy we have found at Walt Disney World Resort.
