So in booking a room through DVC, can you ask for a room on the Club Level floor using your DVC points?

    Hey Howdy Hey, Lucy!

Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney!  Lucy, don't you just love the flexibility of your Disney Vacation Club Membership? Using your Vacation Points for the vacation of your dreams really adds a whole new world to family trips!

Lucy, for clarity, the DVC rooms are different than the Disney Resort Club Level Rooms.  If you stay in a DVC Deluxe Studio or a Villa at a Disney Vacation Club Resort, you will have the home-away-from-home amenities like kitchenettes (in the Deluxe Studios) or a full-sized, fully equipt kitchen in the one, two, or three-bedroom Villas.  The Villas also include a dining area and in-room washer and dryer. Whereas if you stay in a Deluxe Studio, you will have a queen bed, a small dining table, and a couch that converts to a bed (and sometimes a 5th sleeper) and have access to complimentary laundry rooms in the Resort.

The Club Level rooms at Disney Resort Hotels do not have the home-away-from-home features I mentioned above. However, you have access to a Club Level floor with amenities like a light breakfast, mid-day snacks, hors d'ouvres, and some evening treats. You also have access to a Club Level Concierge who can assist with any Advance Dining Reservations or Enchanting Extra Reservations you wish to make.  To use your Vacation Points for one of these rooms, you would be transferring your DVC Vacation Points to Reservation Points and you can indeed choose to book a Club Level room. They will be more expensive.

In my experience, because the Disney Vacation Club Resorts are Deluxe Resorts and are the best use of your Vacation Points, you get more "magic for your money" if you use them at a Disney Vacation Club Resort. However, if you are hoping to have that Club Level experience, you would just have to call Member Services to convert your  Vacation Points to use at a Resort within the Disney Hotel Collection and select the Club Level. You can see the Points Chart for those hotels for 2024 here.  For the complete Disney Resorts Collection Hotel Points Charts for 2023 and 2024, you can find those here.

I hope this helps you, Lucy! If you have any more Disney Vacation Club questions, stop back and see me and I'll be so happy to help you.  Have fun making magical memories!

    See ya real soon,
    Keri
