We are planning a visit to the Polynesian for dinner and to watch the fireworks on the beach and will need to return to All Star Movies afterwards. What time will transportation shut down? Boat to MK, bus to All Star?

    Hi Emily!
    Welcome to planDisney.

I am very excited to see that your vacation is literally just around the corner!

You have chosen one of the best viewing spots for Happily Ever After, and it's a great idea to have a dining reservation at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort first, then make your way to the beach for the 9.00pm show!

Resort transport will continue to run for approximately an hour after park closing, so if you take the boat to Magic Kingdom Park straight after the fireworks, you'll be in good time to take a bus back to Disney's All-Start Movies Resort.  You could also take the Resort Monorail to Magic Kingdom Park, but you'll be closer to the boat dock.

It's worth noting that on Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights, the park will close later, so the transport will run later too.  The dates for the party in September are: 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27 and 29.  The fireworks show will be different on those dates too - you'll be treated to Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, with a showtime of 10.00pm.

You can use your My Disney Experience app to check park opening hours.  Tap '≡' in the bottom right corner, then 'Plan My Next Visit' and 'Park Hours & Info'.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions, and you can send me a direct question if you wish.  We are always happy to help you plan your magical vacation at Walt Disney World!
