Hey there, Nora!
Please stand clear of the doors... and welcome to planDisney. We're excited that you've stopped by with an excellent
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! It sounds like you might be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth with a stroller-riding Mouseketeer very soon. I'd be happy to help you prepare for an easy breezy Disney Parks getaway!
Nora, as a parent of a stroller-rider myself, I prefer relying on complimentary transportation options that allow me to wheel my little guy right on without collapsing our stroller. I'm happy to share that the
Walt Disney World Monorail System usually allows Guests to roll strollers right onto the Monorail without folding them! The exception to this might occur if the Monorail is very crowded. In those circumstances, a Cast Member may ask you to collapse and fold your stroller to make room for other Guests. I've always had good luck rolling my son's stroller right onto the Monorail - even when he's sleeping after a long day in the theme parks! You'll likely just need to lift the front of the stroller up to meet the Monorail, as it's on a slightly elevated platform.
My family's other favorite mode of
Walt Disney World Resort transportation is the Disney Skyliner, Nora. This unique sky-high experience allows Guests to wheel children in strollers right onto the gondolas! The
Disney Skyliner is my son's favorite way to get to EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios from the connected Resort hotels. It's always a fun surprise to find out which Disney Characters our gondola will feature!
Nora, I hope you've found this information helpful and I wish you and your stroller-riding Mouseketeer a magical and memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any additional questions before or during your trip, you can always swing back by
planDisney again. We're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
